Jessica F. Battaglia is a senior attorney at Paris Ackerman LLP, having joined the firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice group in October 2017. Jessica concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial real estate law, with an emphasis on real estate sales and acquisitions.
Jessica calls upon years of experience to successfully guide clients on a broad spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including opportunity assessment, due diligence and title insurance matters, the acquisition and disposition of real property, financing, and commercial leasing. Her prior experiences include the successful negotiation of office and retail leases on behalf of landlords and tenants, representation of buyers and sellers of developed and undeveloped real estate, representation of developers, condominium boards and non-profit corporations in the registration and establishment of commercial and residential condominiums. Jessica has also successfully prosecuted enforcement proceedings on behalf of commercial clients, including contract disputes, non-performance/non-payment of rent matters, construction defect and eviction proceedings.
Jessica earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002. During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Lawrence Weiss, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Jessica earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Rider University in 1999.
After graduating law school, Jessica served as a judicial law clerk to Judge William L’e Wertheimer, Presiding Judge, Law Division-Civil, Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County.
Prior to joining Paris Ackerman, LLP, Jessica practiced law in prominent New Jersey law firms including Hill Wallack LLP, Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP and Jardim, Meisner & Susser, P.C.. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
