
Eric A. Friedman is a Partner in the firm’s Franchise Law, Business Law and Commercial Real Estate groups and focuses his practice on elaborate multi-unit franchise transactions and franchise financing.
Eric represents small and large multi-unit franchisee operators in the acquisition and disposition of franchise networks and real estate properties. In addition, Eric counsels automobile dealers on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and reorganization, legal compliance, franchise agreements and obligations, and real estate transactions.
Eric earned his law degree at the Roger Williams University School of Law and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the Boston University School of Law. Eric received his undergraduate degree as well as his Master of Science (M.S.) in accounting from the University of Connecticut. With a multidisciplinary background in tax accounting and business law, Eric can provide additional insight to his transactional clients on matters related to taxes, wealth preservation, and estate and succession planning.
Eric is currently admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric was an associate in the Legal Services for Businesses, Families and Individuals and Trusts and Estates practices at the law firm of Berkowitz, Lichtstein, Kuritsky, Giasullo & Gross, LLC and previously served as an associate in the Automotive Dealership law group of Aboyoun & Heller, L.L.C. Eric also served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vito L. Bianco, Judge Tax Court of New Jersey.
